A POMPEY fan has admitted taking drugs to an away match.

Jake Limbrick, of Vectis Road, Gosport, had been to the Mansfield Town vs Portsmouth match when he was caught with cannabis and cocaine.

Mansfield Magistrates’ Court heard that Limbrick dropped a bag of white powder on the floor in front of a police officer.

The 21-year-old pleaded guilty to being in possession of cannabis, a class B drug.

He also admitted possession with intent to supply after being caught with seven bags of cocaine, a class A.

Elaine Konieczny was chairwoman of the magistrates at the court hearing.

She said: ‘This is not a suitable matter to be dealt with within this court.’

Limbrick has been released on unconditional bail until he appears at Nottingham Crown Court on September 23.
