A MAN caught with a razor blade in public has been jailed.

Shane Britton, 23, of Ernest Road, Havant, admitted possessing the blade in Isambard Brunel Road, Portsmouth.

He admitted being drunk and disorderly in the same street on the same day, May 21.

Britton also admitted assaulting a police officer in Havant on April 20 and to committing the crimes while subject to a suspended sentence.

He was jailed for 28 weeks.
