BABY powder thief Nathan Hobbs has been told to pay compensation.

Hobbs, 24, of Keith Close, Gosport, admitted stealing six tins of baby powder from Tesco Express in Lee-on-the-Solent.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £62.94 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge.

Hobbs was told to pay £30 in court costs by Fareham magistrates.
