THE managing director of a recruitment company has denied downloading images of child porn on his work and home computers.

Cy Coleman is alleged to have had 162 indecent images and 92 movies of children.

Police recovered the material after searching his home and Pinnacle Recruitment in Mengham Road, Hayling Island, where he worked.

Prosecutor Gary Venturi told a jury at Portsmouth Crown Court that Coleman, who is married and has a child, told police the images must have been downloaded by a work colleague.

Mr Venturi said: ‘He said he had never seen these files before and could only assume that somebody else at work had downloaded them in error.’

The 35-year-old claims the images on his home laptop could have also been downloaded by a colleague.

Coleman, of Paddock Walk, Portchester, has pleaded not guilty to 20 counts of making indecent images of children and three of possessing indecent images of children.
