THREE arrests have been made in connection with the theft of mobile phone memory cards from a shop in Cascades shopping centre, Portsmouth.

Following the thefts yesterday morning, police carried out a search of a market stall close to the entrance of the Cascades. A 41-year-old man from Portsmouth was arrested on suspicion of theft.

Police then arrested a 43-year-old man from Gosport and a 47-year-old man from Portsmouth on suspicion of handling stolen goods. All three are in custody.
