TWO men are due in court following a major police operation.

It comes after Hampshire police made 10 arrests at 10 addresses in December last year.

Now Billy Fitzearle, 31, of Nobes Avenue, in Gosport has been charged with possession of a class B drug.

Stephen Thomas, 31, from Emmanuel Close in Fareham has been charged with possession of class A and class B drugs.

Fitzearle is due at Fareham Magistrates’ Court on April 29 and Thomas on April 1.

But no further action is being taken against a 31-year-old woman from Fareham who was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and money laundering.

Another three men from Warsash arrested in the raids are on police bail until March 25.

A 33-year-old man from Whiteley and a 39-year-old woman from Whiteley have been rebailed until May 16.

A 29-year-old woman from Eastleigh and a 25-year-old man from Eastleigh are on police bail until April 17.

The raids were carried out under Operation Fortress, Hampshire police’s campaign targeting drug crime.
