BURGLARS broke into a home while its owners were on holiday and made off with a haul of items, including a television and jewellery.

Police are appealing for information following the burglary at a home in Lower Church Road, Park Gate sometime between midday on Monday, August 26 and 11.30am on Monday, September 2.

A kitchen window at the back was forced open to get into the home.

Among the stolen goods was a 36in LG flat screen television, plus smaller flat screen TV, a silver pen with ‘Phil’ and birthday wishes engraved on it, a men’s silver ring with a blue opal and a men’s gold and diamond ring with a white gold band running through it
