A 73-year-old ‘vulnerable’ man has been found in Fareham.

Andrew Crawford went missing from his home in Victory Court, Beauchamp Avenue, Bridgemary, Gosport, on Monday evening at 6.55pm.

A young woman and her boyfriend were approached by Mr Crawford when he asked them for directions in Fareham at around 5pm yesterday.

The pair then helped him get home.

It comes after police had asked members of the public to get in touch if they had seen him.

He had been sighted on CCTV at the bus station in South Street, Gosport, at around 10.50am yesterday.

A police spokeswoman thanked the public for their help finding Mr Crawford.
