‘I just remember a white cloud and a huge, horrific noise’

  • Public asked to help trace David Budd
  • Police believe he may be in West Sussex
  • Concern that missing man is confused because of lack of medication
  • Facebook post says he has been found

A pensioner missing from his Havant home is reported to have been found safe and well.

Hampshire Constabulary last night issued a picture of 78-year-old David Budd saying: ‘We need your help to get him home safely.’

A police spokesman said that David left his home address at Blenheim Gardens at 7.30am on Friday.

‘He hasn’t been seen or heard from since’ said the spokesman. ‘We think David may have travelled to the ‪Fernhurst‬ area of West Sussex, but we’re not sure where he is now.

‘We’re concerned because David may be confused and not know where he is, as he left home without his medication.

‘If you can help us to find David please call 101 quoting 44160216679.’

We’re concerned because David may be confused and not know where he is, as he left home without his medication.

Hampshire Police

Today, the police appeal remained on Hampshire Constabulary’s Facebook page.

But a reply to the post from Denise Buss read: ‘Huge thank you from the Budd family to everyone for sharing this post. David has now been found and is being taken home by the Police.’
