A MISSING man has links to Portsmouth, police have said.

Rex Daniels, 57, was reported missing last Friday but last seen on October 14.

Mr Daniels, from Stroud, has family links to Surrey and Plymouth and frequently travels to Portsmouth as part of his job.

A spokesman from Gloucestershire Constabulary said: 'His disappearance is completely out of character.

'Rex is described as white male, with long mullet style hair which is grey and dark brown in colour. Rex is between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 9ins in height and of stocky build.

'He usually wears a biker style leather waistcoat, jeans, a wallet chain attached to his belt and either hiking style boots or cowboy style boots.'

Call 101, ask for Gloucestershire police, and quote incident 372 of 4 November.
