A MISSING pensioner could be in Portsmouth, police have said.

Merseyside Police said 66-year-old John Stevens was last seen yesterday at around 5.45pm in Canning Street, Toxteth.

He may have family in Portsmouth, Cornwall or Dagenham, officers said.

Mr Stevens also has links to Liverpool city centre and Runcorn.

A Merseyside Police officer said: 'Officers would urge Mr Stevens or anyone who has seen him since Wednesday, 28 September to contact 101, 0151 233 2320 or the Missing People Charity on 116 000.'
