A cruel thief stole a mobility scooter from a woman aged 89.
Police revealed today that the victim discovered the crime on Christmas Day, when she realised that the mobility scooter, which she last used on Saturday, December 20, had been taken from the communal corridor outside of her flat in a residential home in Lavender Road, Waterlooville.
A Hampshire Police spokesman said: ‘The theft has had a major impact on the victim; without it she is unable to have the means to leave her home.
