HAMPSHIRE’S police and crime commissioner has set £140,000 aside from his reserve for a two-year initiative to promote Speedwatch across Hampshire and Isle of Wight.

The money is split in two with £65,000 being retained by Hampshire Constabulary to allow them to manage running costs associated with the volunteers, plus the administrative process of carrying out checks on vehicles.
