A motorist has been arrested for allegedly being at the wheel while under the influence of cannabis - just three days after passing the driving test.

Hampshire Police gave brief details of the incident in Portsmouth in a tweet.

On their Hants Roads Policing account ‏@HantsPolRoads they said: ‘A driver who passed their test 3 days ago has just been arrested for driving whilst under the influence of Cannabis.
