A MAN caught behind the wheel while more than twice the drink-drive limit has been banned from going out at night.

Lee Bodle, 27, of Whitbread Lane, Segensworth, admitted committing the offence in Southampton Road, Portsmouth at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

A test revealed his blood contained 208 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 80mg.

Bodle was told not to leave home between 7pm and 7am every Friday, Saturday and Sunday for 12 weeks. He must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs and was banned from driving for two years.
