Saville, 18, of Ferry Road, Eastney, admitted trying to drive a Chevrolet Spark in Craneswater Park, Southsea, after drinking too much on June 25.

A test revealed his breath contained 104 milligrammes of alcohol per 80 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80mg.

He also admitted stealing the vehicle on the same day.
