Senior police officer hits out at ‘irresponsible’ drivers after 320 thefts from vehicles

MAGISTRATES have fined a man for driving without insurance.

Jake Young, 24, of Byron Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to committing the offence in Southampton Road, Titchfield, on March 22.

He was fined £200 and told to pay £35 costs and £15 into a fund for crime victims by Fareham magistrates.

Three penalty points were added to Young’s driving licence.
