A RETIRED police chief will tell his powerful story at an event in Waterlooville.

In 2003 Robin Oake, from Shrewsbury, received a phone call to say his detective son, Stephen, had been murdered.

Stephen Oake was stabbed to death during an anti-terror raid in Manchester.

Robin will tell how he has managed to forgive those responsible.

His talk is at the Men’s Breakfast at 8am on March 29 at The Plough & Barleycorn Pub, Tempest Avenue.
