TWO men have been arrested and released on police bail after the discovery of a man’s body on a Dorset beach.

The body of Rico Dardis, 30, was found in water near groynes at Seaway Avenue in Christchurch on Monday evening.

Mr Dardis’s Facebook page says he was living in the Portsmouth area, though an inquest heard yesterday morning
that his address was listed as in Bournemouth.

The two Bournemouth men, aged 49 and 51, had been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Police said Mr Dardis appeared to have sustained injuries caused by a boat propeller. A knife was also recovered at the scene.
