A THIEF who breached his community order has been given a suspended jail sentence.

Ashley Richardson, 21, of no fixed abode, admitted failing to turn up for unpaid work on four separate occasions in December.

The community order imposed for a theft he was convicted of in January last year was revoked by Fareham magistrates. Richardson was fined £50, ordered to pay £15 to crime victims and given a 12-week suspended sentence.
