NO further action will be taken against two people who were arrested on suspicion of murdering a teenager.

Damien Nettles, 16, went missing following a night out in West Cowes, on the Isle of Wight, in November 1996. He has never been found.

A 36-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man, both from Cowes, on the Isle of Wight, were released yesterday after being bailed. Police say there was insufficent evidence to suggest they committed an offence. A 38-year-old man from Ryde, on the Isle of Wight, was not able to answer bail yesterday. Officers are arranging a new appointment for him to be questioned further. Anyone with information about the case should contact 101.
