Pensioner is charged with child sex offences in Hampshire

A FORMER teacher has been charged with indecency against young girls.

Timothy Ernest Edward Bleach, 75, of Hazel Walk, Broadway Park, Petersfield, was charged yesterday by Hampshire police.

Detectives working on Operation Marmion – a review of historic child sexual exploitation – made the charges.

Bleach was charged with 46 counts involving six girls under the age of 13 during the 1970s in Hampshire.

He was a teacher at Weyford Junior School in Bordon during the time of the alleged offences in the 1970s. He is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on March 15.
