DRINK-DRIVER Charlie Southgate has been banned from getting behind the wheel.

Southgate pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle in Burnett Road, Gosport, after drinking too much on December 4.

A test revealed the 22-year-old’s breath contained 57 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres – above the 35mg legal limit. Southgate, of Highfield Road, Petersfield, was fined £150 and ordered to pay £15 to a fund for crime victims and £85 in court costs by Fareham magistrates.
