A TEENAGER who assaulted two police officers and a detention officer has been told to pay compensation.

Jasmine Newman, 19, pleaded guilty to assaulting one of the officers in St Andrews Road, Southsea.

Newman, of Sumner Road, Petersfield, admitted assaulting the other officer and the detention officer at Portsmouth Central police station.

She was given a 12-month conditional discharge and told she must pay £50 compensation and £85 in court costs.
