Phones stolen from Salvation Army

Southsea woman smuggled 59,400 cigarettes into the UK

Have your say

THIEVES who stole phones from Salvation Army members have been branded ‘selfish’ by police.

The Apple iPhone and Nokia mobile were taken from the branch office in Albert Road, Southsea.

They had been used to help people evacuated from their homes following the blaze at the derelict Joanna’s nightclub in South Parade on August 9.

Vital contact numbers were stored on them. The phones were stolen between 1pm and 1.30pm on Tuesday. Call PC Griffiths at Southsea station on 101.
