SEVEN sets of house keys which are believed to have been stolen were seized by police.

Officers discovered the keys on April 15 and officers would like to track down the rightful owners.

PC Dave Shaw, from the Fratton Priority Crime team, said: ‘I’d like to hear from anyone in the Portsmouth area who has been the victim of a burglary, or a theft from their car, in which house keys have been stolen.

‘Most of the sets have distinctive key rings on them so we will be able to eliminate callers if the descriptions don’t match over the phone.’

Anyone who believes the keys belong to them is asked to contact the Fratton Priority Crime team by phoning 101.

Information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
