A BURGLAR broke into a hairdressing salon before making off with cash.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the burglary at John Peter and Company, in Chapel Street, Petersfield.

It happened at some time between 7.15pm on Monday and 8am the following morning,

The burglar broke in after forcing open a locked uPVC side door.

About £70 was stolen from a float tin and one of the tip boxes.

PC Oliver Vale, from the Alton targeted patrol team, said: ‘If you saw this burglary happen, or know who is responsible, please get in touch.’
