Police are seeking witnesses after reports of a man behaving indecently in Havant

Hampshire Constabulary revealed today that two incidents were reported to have taken place near the footbridge on New Lane on Thursday, February 27 between 8.00am and 8.40am.

A police spokeswoman said: ‘A man appeared to have been behaving in an indecent manner in a white van.

‘A man was arrested on suspicion of indecency and later released with no further action. No one was approached, threatened or touched.

‘Officers from the local Safer Neighbourhoods Team have been conducting patrols in the area.

‘If you were in the locality of the footbridge by New Lane in Havant and saw any suspicious vehicles or anyone acting suspiciously please contact DC Bambury at Waterlooville DCID on 101.’
