HOUSES and businesses are being searched in Portsmouth as part of a drugs bust.

Officers from Hampshire Constabulary are in Rockrose Way, Paulsgrove, and are searching a property for the supply of illegal drugs.

A police spokesman said: ‘Officers from Hampshire Constabulary are executing a number of search warrants in the Portsmouth area.

‘The warrants have been carried out at commercial and residential addresses across the area.

‘This operation follows an extensive investigation into the supply of illegal drugs.

‘The execution of the warrants will include officers from across the force, including the CID, Force Support Unit, Dog Unit, Safer Neighbourhoods Teams and Tactical Policing Teams.’
