POLICE and search crews have been combing woodland and fields in the hunt for a missing woman.

Officers, along with the Hampshire Search and Rescue charity and a dog team, focused their search for 42-year-old Katharine Blakey around the Peak Lane area of Fareham, on Thursday night. She was last seen at home in Gordon Road, Fareham, on Tuesday morning. Crews were also searching Fareham town centre.

Simon Jeffs, chairman of Hampshire Search and Rescue, said they were searching the areas ‘based on intelligence we received’. Sgt James Wilkinson urged people to contact police if there were any sightings.
