A COMPLAINT over the county’s crime commissioner’s expenses has been sent back from the police watchdog.

The original complaint about Simon Hayes, said initially to allege criminal conduct, was referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission.

Now the file about Mr Hayes, Hampshire’s police and crime commissioner, has been returned to a panel made up of local councillors.

The Hampshire Police and Crime panel will consider the matter.

The IPCC said: ’After consideration the IPCC decided to return the matter.’
