MAGISTRATES have fined a man after police found herbal cannabis at his home.

Officers discovered the drug at Jamie Dawkins’ home in Idsworth Road, Copnor, Portsmouth, on October 12.

The 21-year-old pleaded guilty to possessing a class B drug when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

He was fined £50 and told to pay £15 in court costs.

The magistrates ordered the destruction of the drug.
