POLICE have been granted more time to question a woman arrested on a conspiracy to murder charge after a shooting.

The 31-year-old from Waterlooville was held after Jamie Sibley, of Waterlooville, was shot in the face on Monday morning in Athena Avenue in Crookhorn.

The woman can now be held in police custody until 11pm tomorrow.

A 37-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of attempted murder have been bailed until April 28 pending further enquiries.

Mr Sibley is in Southampton General Hospital and his family have said he is in a ‘bad condition’.

Police have said they want details relating to drug supply in the area, as well as any information about the shooting.
