TWO teenagers in Portchester have told police about a man acting suspiciously towards them.

Hampshire Constabulary is investigating the case in which two girls, both aged 13, were walking along Lonsdale Avenue, around 4.15pm on Thursday, January 3, when the man approached them. His behaviour upset the girls, who reported the matter to a parent, who then called the police.

Detectives are not linking this case to any others at the moment.

Specialist officers are working with the girls and their families to establish the exact circumstances, and offer support for their welfare.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police by calling 101, or anonymously by calling the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
