POLICE are hunting three men in connection with a robbery.

A 44-year-old man was in Derby Road, Portsmouth, when the trio stole his black laptop bag and ran off up Cardiff Road. The incident took place between 10.55am and 11.05am on Monday.

Det Con James Garrett said: ‘This robbery happened mid-morning while there were lots of people around in the area.

‘We know that people witnessed the incident and are appealing for them to contact us as soon as possible.’

The first is described as white, tall, 17 to 18, about 6ft, of skinny build, with ‘rat features’. The second was white, 17 to 18, about 5ft 11ins, with short mousey hair, and slim. He wore a black hooded top and grey tracksuit.

The third man is olive skinned, 19 to 20, 5ft 8ins, with black stubble and jet black hair. He wore a black zip up short coat and dark jeans.
