POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a middle-aged man was sexually assaulted and mugged by a young woman.

It happened outside the Royal Norfolk Hotel, at The Esplanade, opposite the skate park in Bognor at 11.40pm on Saturday, March 31.

The 60-year-old victim was approached by a woman who pulled him close by forcing his right arm behind her.

She then sexually assaulted him.

The attacker removed the victim’s wallet from his coat pocket and threw it to a male accomplice, who took £25 in cash before throwing it back.

Another man, who was passing, stopped and asked the victim if he was OK.

But the passer-by then walked off.
