FRESH calls are being made for help almost a year after a woman was raped following the Isle of Wight Festival. The 36-year-old victim, who lives on the island, was attacked in Newport at about midnight on June 14 last year.

Detectives are focused on an allegation that men with northern accents are linked to circumstances surrounding the alleged rape. Two e-fits of suspects have been reissued.

The first man is white, in his 20s to 30s, 5ft 10in tall with a beard. The second is white, aged 15 to 16, 5ft 3in with short hair. He wore a earring in his left ear, jeans and trainers.
