A MAN has claimed he was the victim of a sex offence after getting a taxi in the early hours of the morning.

The man, in his 30s, got a taxi from Portsmouth city centre in the early hours of Sunday morning. The driver asked the man to expose himself in the vehicle, police said. Hampshire police said the man reported it to be a city council-licensed hackney cab. A Hampshire police spokeswoman said: ‘We’ve had a report that at about 3am on Sunday morning a man had left (a bar) and a taxi pulled up, he got in and the Asian taxi driver told him (to expose himself).’ Call police on 101 quoting 44160209041.
