A MAN was attacked at a taxi rank, leaving him with cuts on his eye and cheek.

Police are appealing for information about the assault, which happened outside Debenhams in Osborne Road, Southsea, and have released this CCTV image.

At around 1.15am on Saturday last week, the 30-year-old victim was attacked following a dispute with another man.

He was treated for cuts to his right eye and cheek at Queen Alexandra Hospital and later discharged.

The suspect is white, in his mid-20s, 5ft 8in, stocky with short brown hair.

He was wearing a light grey V-neck jumper over a white collared shirt, dark blue jeans and light brown desert boots.
