POLICE have issued these images of two armed robberies at betting shops in Portsmouth.

The first incident took place at around 5.50pm on March 11, at Ladbrokes in Clarendon Road. A man entered the shop wielding, what appeared to be, a knife and threatened a female member of staff.

A 25-year-old woman was forced to open the safe and hand over the money inside.

The second robbery happened between 8.15pm and 8.30pm on March 14, at Ladbrokes in Lake Road.

A man entered with what appeared to be a knife, took money out of the till and threatened a female member of staff.

The 46-year-old woman was forced to open the safe and hand over the money inside.

Police are linking both incidents.
