A TOP police official has spoken at a restorative justice conference in Europe.
Rob Jarman, Hampshire’s deputy, spoke at the two-day conference in Lisbon last week.
Mr Jarman is the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner lead for restorative justice, putting in place schemes to prevent re-offending.
He said: ‘I consider it a real privilege to be given the opportunity to share with our European counterparts the innovative projects we have implemented and are developing here for the residents of Hampshire and Isle of Wight.’
The conference was on May 13 and 14 last week.
Victims, judges, prosecutors, police and policy officials attended to talk about victims’ rights.
