AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a fight at a beach.

The brawl broke out between two groups of teenagers that were both having parties at West Wittering.

The group of older teenagers, believed to be around 18 to 20, attacked the younger ones, around 14 to 16.

One of the victims lost some teeth and another suffered cuts and bruises.

Two boys were arrested on suspicion of assault and bailed until August 3.

The fight happened at about 11pm on Saturday, July 5, although details have only just been released by police.

PC Stuart Bethan said: ‘This was a particular nasty attack.

‘We’re keen to trace one girl who was seen to violently attack another girl.

‘The suspect is described as white, large build, around 5ft 6in tall, and between 17 and 20 years old. She had crooked teeth, shoulder-length straight black hair with a tint of red and she wearing a white top with flowers and a butterflies on it.’
