THIS man is wanted for snatching cash, cheques and a credit card during a burglary at a shop.

The thief struck after entering the staff area of Boots in Commercial Road, Landport, Portsmouth, while the store manager was working on the busy shop floor.

When she returned to the area she checked her purse and noticed that £150 cash, four cheques and an American Express credit card had been stolen.

The manager reported the theft to a store security guard who then scoured CCTV that had been taken in store for clues.

The thief was spotted on camera entering the staff area.

Now police have released this image in a bid to track down the burglar and bring him to justice. The thief struck at the Boots store between 11.45am and 2pm on Saturday.

Police say the stolen credit card was cancelled before it could be used.
