TWO thieves stole groceries worth more than £100 from a convenience store.

Hampshire Constabulary have released this CCTV image of two people it wants to speak to following the theft of £114 worth of food – mainly cheese.

The items were taken from the Co-op store in Copnor Road, Portsmouth, at around 4.50pm on Monday, February 13.

Crime desk investigator Rod Jebb said: ‘The store was not that busy at the time of the theft, but staff were busy with other work.

‘The stolen goods will probably be sold door-to-door or stolen to order.

‘Do not support this type of crime. If you are offered items for sale in suspicious circumstances contact police.’

Anyone with information should contact the Eastern Area Crime Desk at Fratton police station on 101.
