POLICE are on the hunt for a man who pushed a woman against a wall and attacked her.

The 32-year-old victim was walking along Sydenham Terrace, in Landport, Portsmouth, towards Fratton Bridge at around 7.30pm on Wednesday when she was assaulted. The suspect is white, 5ft 9ins, of average build and in his 20s.

He was wearing a dark knitted beanie hat and dark winter style mid-thigh length coat and had a pointy face with some stubble. Witnesses should contact police on 101 or the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
