A ROBBER made off with £140 after threatening a cashier with a blade.

A female member of staff at the Southern Co-operative shop, in Forestside Avenue, Havant, was approached by a man at 1pm on Friday, August 14.

He demanded she hand over some cash from the till and police say he appeared to be holding a bladed object.

The robber reached across the counter and took £140 before leaving the store.

The cashier was not hurt in the incident. The robber, e-fit pictured, was white, 6ft, slim and wore a black hooded jacket with the hood pulled tight around his face.

It had white piping around it and the rest of the man’s face was covered by a white scarf.

Police are also looking to trace a second man who was waiting outside the shop at the time.

He was white, about 20, 5ft 10in and slim.

The victim described him as having square shoulders and an angular face, prominent dark eyebrows, and a small nose.

He had thick, dark hair with a squared hairline and wore a dark green hooded top.
