Police are seeking the owner of a stolen classic motorbike found dumped in a Hampshire wood.

Hampshire Constabulary say officers recovered classic-style Honda last night and are keen to return it to its rightful owners.

A spokesman said: ‘It was found in a wooded area in Netley Abbey at around 6.30pm yesterday. We believe it was stolen and dumped there.

‘It is a red and silver 1970s classic-style motorbike, which someone has clearly taken a lot of time and effort to restore, so we would love to be able to give it back to them.

So please share our message and hopefully we can reunite them.

‘If you think this is your bike or if you think you may know who it belongs to please contact PC Sarah Humphries from the Burseldon Neighbourhood Team on 101, quoting 44160310556.

Proof of ownership will be required.’
