Credit card machines stolen from businesses during distraction burglaries

A 16-YEAR-OLD boy was arrested on suspicion of handing stolen goods following a stop-and-search by police.

The teenager was caught with a ladies’ earrings and bracelet set when he was searched in Arundel Street, Landport, Portsmouth, shortly after 5pm on Monday.

Police say he could not explain where the jewellery had come from.

Now this image has been released in a bid to establish whether the jewellery is stolen.

The teenager was arrested at the scene.

He was later released on bail until May 2 pending further inquiries.
