A SHOPPER was assaulted when he was caught up in a robbery.

Police say a member of the public was hurt during a robbery at Zoola Fish, a fish pedicure spa, at Cascades shopping centre in Portsmouth.

The robbery took place between 10.50am and 11.20am on Monday.

The police were called but the member of the public left before they arrived. Officers are now keen to trace him.

James Eagers, 29, of Palmyra Road, Gosport, has been charged with robbery, possession of a class B substance and sending offensive messages by public communication network. He is due before Portsmouth magistrates next week.
