DRINK-DRIVER Martin Scurll has been banned from getting behind the wheel.

Scurll, 25, from Cotton Road, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to committing the offence while he was driving a Vauxhall Astra in the same street on December 12.

A test revealed his breath contained 73 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mcg.

Scurrl was fined £200.

He was ordered to pay £20 to a fund for victims of crime and £85 in court costs.

Scurll was banned from driving for 18 months by Portsmouth magistrates.
